Why Pilot Point Families Choose Davis Martial Arts & Fitness.

  • A Program for Every Age

From a 3-year-old in Kids BJJ to a parent in Adult BJJ or Krav Maga, every family member has a class built for where they are.

  • One Dojo. One Schedule.

No more driving to three activities on three different nights. Bring the whole family to the same place and stagger your classes.

  • A Shared Language at Home

When everyone in the house is working on the same values (confidence, discipline, focus, and respect), those things become part of how your family operates.

  • Family Culture That Fits

Davis Martial Arts & Fitness is a family-run academy with a family-oriented culture. You will feel it the first time you walk in.

How It Works

How Family Martial Arts Works at Our Pilot Point Dojo.

Family training at Davis Martial Arts & Fitness means everyone in your household has their own class and their own progression. Your 4-year-old trains in Kids BJJ. Your 9-year-old trains in Kids BJJ with the older group. You train in an adult program: BJJ, Krav Maga, or Muay Thai. The classes are separate. The dojo is shared. The growth happens together.

This is not a single combined class for parents and kids. It is a roster of age-appropriate programs designed so every family member trains at the right intensity, with the right techniques, at the right pace. Each program runs on its own schedule. Many families coordinate so that everyone is on the mat during the same evening or Saturday morning, which makes the academy feel like a shared family activity even though each member trains separately.

Built For Busy Weeks

Family Martial Arts Classes That Fit a Busy Pilot Point Schedule.

How Family Nights Work

Class times shift through the year, so the schedule page always has the current weekly view. Many families come on the same evening so one trip to the academy covers a kids class and an adult class. Check our full schedule for the current times, or call (940) 305-3965 and we will tell you which nights line up for your family.

Train at the Same Place. Same Night.

Many families coordinate class times so the whole family is at the dojo on the same evening. One drive in, multiple classes, one drive home. Bring the family. Stagger your classes.

What Families Always Ask

Everything Families Ask Before Signing Up Together.

How young can a kid be in our family lineup?

Children age 3 and up can train at Davis Martial Arts & Fitness. Kids start in Kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (ages 3 to 12), grouped by age on the mat, then move into Adult & Teen BJJ from 13 and up. Teens and adults can also train Krav Maga and Muay Thai & Kickboxing. Every age has a class built for it.

Can my teen and I train at the same Pilot Point martial arts dojo?

Yes. Teens train in Adult & Teen BJJ, Krav Maga, and Muay Thai & Kickboxing from age 13, and parents train in the same programs at our Pilot Point dojo. You will be on the same mat, often in the same class.

What if I have never trained before?

No prior training is required. Beginners are welcome in every adult program at Davis Martial Arts & Fitness. Instructors meet each student at their current level.

Does the whole family train together in the same class?

Not the same class at the same age. Each family member trains in their age-appropriate program. Your 4-year-old is in Kids BJJ. Your 9-year-old is in Kids BJJ with the older group. You are in an adult program. The classes are separate. The dojo is shared.

Do we have to come at the same time?

No, but many families come on the same evening so the whole household is at the dojo together. Class times shift through the year, so call us at (940) 305-3965 and we will walk through which evenings line up cleanest for your family.

What do we wear?

Comfortable athletic clothes for your Free First Class. Training happens barefoot on the mat, and we provide loaner gear so there is nothing to buy to get started. If you decide to continue, we will walk you through what to buy for each program.

Is sparring required?

No. Sparring and live training are introduced only when a student is ready. Most family members never spar unless they choose to.

Do you offer family pricing for martial arts in Pilot Point?

Yes. We work with Pilot Point families of every shape and size and we will build a plan that fits. Family pricing is best discussed in person or by phone so we can match it to the programs each member is enrolled in. Call us at (940) 305-3965 or ask at the front desk on your visit.

Can grandparents train too?

Yes. Grandparents are welcome in our adult programs. We will set the right starting point during your first class.

How does the Free First Class work for families?

Each family member who wants to train starts with their own Free First Class, free, with loaner gear provided. Family pricing for continued membership is available; ask about it during your visit.
